Patrick C. Lynch, CFA
Founder and President

Joined Chicago Equity Partners in 1989

Mr. Lynch is responsible for ongoing management and strategy of Chicago Equity Partners. Prior to co-founding Chicago Equity Partners, he was head of institutional investments at First Illinois Bank. Mr. Lynch earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Loyola University Chicago and an MBA from DePaul University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Commercial Club of Chicago, the CFA Society of Chicago and the CFA Institute. Additionally, he is a Loyola University Trustee, a Loyola Business School Advisory council member, Chairman and Trustee of St. Ignatius College Prep and Chairman of the Catholic Education Foundation for the Diocese of Joliet.

Patricia A. Halper, CFA
Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer - Equities

Ms. Halper oversees all of Chicago Equity Partners’ equity products as well as the equity portfolio management and quantitative research groups. Previously, she was a member of the quantitative research team. Prior to joining our firm, she worked at the institutional futures sales desk at Paine Webber. Ms. Halper holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Loyola University Chicago and a master’s degree in financial mathematics from the University of Chicago. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, the Chicago Quantitative Alliance, the Economic Club of Chicago, and the Chicago Network. Additionally, she is on the Board of Trustees for La Rabida Children’s Hospital.

Robert H. Kramer, CFA

Mr. Mitchell is a senior fixed income portfolio manager, and oversees the fixed income team at Chicago Equity Partners. He joined Chicago Equity Partners in 2003, in conjunction with the launch of our fixed income business. Prior to joining our firm, he served as vice president and senior portfolio manager at Loomis Sayles & Company. Mr. Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MBA from the University of Illinois. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.

Keith E. Gustafson, CFA

Mr. Gustafson earned bachelor’s degrees in history and economics from University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from Loyola University Chicago, and a master’s degree in financial economics from the University of London. He is a trustee on the investment board of Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart.

Mr. Mitchell is a senior fixed income portfolio manager, and oversees the fixed income team at Chicago Equity Partners. He joined Chicago Equity Partners in 2003, in conjunction with the launch of our fixed income business. Prior to joining our firm, he served as vice president and senior portfolio manager at Loomis Sayles & Company. Mr. Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MBA from the University of Illinois. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
